Another WelshotRewards Day – A Members Only event that only WelshotRewards can purchase (indicated £’s will be converted to WelshotRewards at checkout) and this time we are in the Castlefields area of Manchester.  An area full of history with so many photographic opportunities – from close-up and macro to scenes perfect for HDR.  Today is all about learning how (or refreshing those skills) to use all your cameras main functions – concentrating on the “Exposure Triangle” – Aperture – Shutter – ISO…  The three main components needed to take a photograph no matter what camera you use.  By bringing them all together you will always be able to create an image that you have in your mind’s eye.

Welshot Does… Shortest Night – Low-Light & Long Exposure Photography – Anglesey & Snowdonia

After the success of the 2018 “Shortest Night” we will, once again, be running this, not so short, non-stop night of photography. Circumnavigating Anglesey and Snowdonia” – starting in Llanberis with a picnic supper in the Evening and finishing at breakfast, both of which are included in the cost of this event. Shooting for nearly 15 hours solid.  Most of the 2018 delegates are already pre-booked onto this event so spaces are already limited.

Another Afternoon Mini-Module, specifically designed for the beginner to learn a new skill and technique – Off Camera Flash Photography – while taking part in a fun and friendly photo-shoot arranged by the Welshot Photographic Academy.  This event gives you the opportunity to work in a small group and specifically designed for beginners with guaranteed One to One tuition as well as group tuition throughout the day. You will also be able to perfect your “Working with Models” and posing skills along the way – all while creating strong, full of impact photos for your portfolio

Movement – and how to capture it in camera to give your photographs that dynamic WOW factor. Tonight at the Welshot Photographic Academy in Beaumaris, Anglesey, North Wales you will be learning how to capture movement – From dancers in our in our mains studio flash and outside on location using off camera flash – from creating water droplets to blurring images intentionally to give a feeling of movement this Academy Evening will have it all for the enthusiastic photographer who wants to learn while they have fun.

At the March Anglesey Photographic Academy Evening in Beaumaris it is all about Macro and Close-Up Photography. Learn to capture some stunning images as you get right in close to capture the details – Learn how to use your camera and some simple tricks and techniques if you don’t have a dedicated Macro lens. Props galore, from flowers to miniature men (think railway model stuff here) from a homemade terrarium, that you can easily replicate at home to small toys with tons of detail – this evening of photography will have it all, fun, creativity and inspiration. Welshot will have a variety of lenses and adaptors for you to try. This photographic genres is very satisfying and also gives you the ability to create some great wall art too.

February – the Month that belongs to Lovers – Yes, it is Valentines Day on the 14th February and tonight at the Welshot Photographic Academy Evening based at the Holiday Inn, Ellesmere Port we are going to be working with Mains Studio Lighting and our Models will have a “Valentines” feel to it. The Welshot Team Leaders will help you to make some wonderful portrait photography and you will learn how to work with, and pose Models.  Our Models will be wearing a variety of outfits that will surely get cupids arrow firing and you are guaranteed to get yourself a range of creative photographs for your portfolio. This Photographic Academy Evening is going to have it all, helping you to learn how to get the best from YOUR camera, fun and of course, chips.
