Low-Light & Long Exposure Photography with Light Painting – Llandudno Photographic Academy Evening

Dust off your camera bag, charge your batteries, it’s time to blow those cobwebs away and have some photographic fun – all while you hone your camera skills and grab yourself some stunning images to boot!  The dark nights have never been so much fun, and this Welshot Academy Evening will be no exception.  From mastering your long exposure techniques (in VERY low-light conditions) on the shores of the Llandudno Bay, to painting with light – outside, on location and in the warmth of the Welshot Creative Hub where you will be able to find out how you can easily make some really cool gadgets that give you some really cool results.  Did we mention fun?

Low-Light and Long Exposure Photography – Rhyl Harbour is located on the spectacular North Wales coast and it will be our starting point for this Welshot Photographic Roving Academy Evening. Fishing boats, sand dunes, seascapes, long exposures and low-light photography will be our focus on this learn your camera photography workshop session before moving along the waterfront to capture the architecture of Rhyl.

Heading into the dark with your camera has never been so much fun and that’s just what we will be doing at the Long Exposure Photography – Light Painting Techniques, Chester Academy Evening with Welshot. You will be creating images painted with light using a wide variety of devices and tools such , torches, EL wire and props. We will be on location during this shoot, visiting the many historic backdrops in Chester and using them to our advantage to enhance our photographs.

This, Car Photography on Location – Mini-Module with Masterclass from the Welshot Photographic Academy, event covers everything you need to know about how to make, create and capture stunning car photographs. Team Welshot will take you through everything you need to know, from lens choice to camera settings and functions to use to get the best from your camera. From learning how to minimise reflections in the metallic surfaces to useful lighting techniques such as gradient lighting and light painting. Night Photography – A Snowdonia and Anglesey Adventure – It can mean only one thing… Yes! It is the Welshot Does… Shortest Night Adventure. An annual photographic event that starts on the Evening of one day and finishes at breakfast on the next. Photographers, cameras, tripods, copious amounts of snacks and numerous thermos flasks full of coffee all at the ready to capture sunrises, sunsets, long exposures, night skies, landscapes and not to mention ‘THAT’ Tree in Llanberis which is our starting point for this photography filled adventure which circumnavigates Snowdonia and Anglesey in North Wales.
