Adobe Photoshop Training

I started photography over 30 years ago, covering a wide range of subjects including darkroom printing, both monochrome and colour.

For the last 13 years I have specialised in nature photography, gaining ARPS and DPAGB distinctions, and exhibiting in national and international competitions. I am an active photographic club judge and lecturer and have been working with digital imaging since 1998. I have lived in North Wales since 1996, and from 2001 to 2006 I was the Regional Organiser for the North Wales Region of the Royal Photographic Society.

After working as a research scientist for many years, I am now a full time freelance photographer. In 2005 I started up "Pixel to Picture" digital photography courses in partnership with a fellow photographer, Paul Thompson. This has recently extended to providing bespoke digital photography courses for companies and individuals, particularly concentrating on using Photoshop Elements and CS2/3 to achieve consistent high quality photographic output. I am especially happy to help people who are making the transition from film photography to the digital medium. I am delighted to be offering this service through Welshot Imaging.

Motorsport Courses and Personal Tuition

Here is a chance to learn from an experienced and dedicated action sports photographer. Eifion Williams has over 20 years experience in trackside photography. As well as the 5 people courses, Eifion is also available for private tuition.

  • One and two day courses in "How to capture the Action in Camera" based at Oulton Park, Cheshire or Ty Croes, Anglesey North Wales.
  • Entrance fee into the race circuit.
  • A whole day of teaching and practising your photography, trackside and in the pits, staying until the end of the last race.
  • Dedicated time for one on one tuition with as much help as you require.
  • Gourmet Picnic lunch.
  • A chance to use some specialist lenses and camera equipment and learning how to use a monopod.
  • No more than five people to attend each course.

Where two day courses are being run, the price of the workshop will be inclusive of accommodation and food. The one day workshop will include lunch.
