Event description
Opened by Will Cheung FRPS Editor of Advanced Photography Magazine, this action packed event will launch the Liverpool Photographic Academy Evenings. The day will cover a wide variety of Photographic genres. This day will give you a Snapshot of what the Welshot Photographic Academy is all about.
Whether you’re a novice looking to get the best from your camera, or a seasoned pro seeking to hone your skills, this incredible day will have something for you.
Today we introduce you to a "Snapshot" of what we do at the Welshot Photographic Academy
Come and expereince the excitement of taking part in a series of Mini Photographic workshops and courses. A jam packed full of fun, Day of Photography with the Welshot Team and others who want to learn about the different genres of Photography available.
Working in small groups, each with a group leader, you will go from module to module where an expereinced Welshot Team Leader will guide and help you through various techniques. This is a very hands on and practical event where YOU get to use YOUR camera.
From Mains Studio Flash, Off Camera Flash, Food and Product Photography, Creative Photography, Lightroom, How to Pose for Lifestyle Shoots, Business Advice and inspiration to How to get your work published, this day will have it all
This is the day to enjoy your Photography in a variety of ways in a fun, friendly and affordable way with other like minded people and the Welshot Team. It is also the chance to see how we can help YOU take your Photography to another level, by giving you all the business support, advice and guidance that you need to help you develop.
The day will then start with a small introduction from those who will be making you think and use YOUR camera in ways you could only imagine.
From then on, it will be fast paced, non stop action all day with a break for a scrummy full buffett lunch.

Mains Flash Studio with Models. Learn and practise how to use lighting in this environment.
Lifestyle and Portraiture including how to pose models.
Food and Product Photography.
Creative Photography.
Off Camera Flash
How to capture HDR.
How to Process HDR.
Lightroom.
As well as the above the following Photographic sessions will also take place:

Notes and Hand-Outs will be given throughout the day.
Includes FULL Buffet lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
Sharif Photographic Services will also be on-site demonstrating a large variety of products which will be able to be purchased.
Numbers will be strictly restricted and will be on a first come first served basis.

8.30 - 9.00am - Registration over Tea and Coffee. Mix and mingle with other delegates.
9.00am - Photographic Sessions
1.00pm - Lunch - Cold beverages will be able to be purchased in the open bar.
1.45pm - Photographic Sessions
6.30pm - Close
What you should bring:
Camera, Lenses, Memory Cards, Film, Batteries, Tripod.
Notebook and Pen.
Appropriate clothing for you and your camera for the outside events.
An open mind, a willingness to learn and a passion for all things photographic and fun :)
