Event description
Come and capture this action packed day of Motorcycle racing at the Ty Croes Racetrack on Anglesey. Learn how panning techniques can make your images dynamic and full of the thrills and speed of the circuit. Your Action images will also be promoted through Welshot with a chance for you to earn some money.

Soak up the atmosphere of a race meeting at the Ty Croes circuit on Anglesey. Learn the art of panning to capture the bikes racing on the track.
Wander through the paddock area and watch the mechanics at work on their machines and learn to build a story of the day in photographs.
Meeting at the cafe at 10.00am you will be taken through the arrangements of the day, be given handouts and instructions on how to capture your images.
If you are entitled to use your FREE Afternoon/Evening Mini Module Workshop voucher then all you need to do is use the Refreshment only payment .
Appropriate clothing as we will be out all day and the weather can be changeable. Please bring wet weather gear for you and your camera.
Please note: Due to unforeseen circumstances we may need to change the modules (or part of) that have been advertised. We will always provide an alternative that would still benefit you from learning how to get the best from your camera. We will also always endeavour to give andvance warning of any changes.
Refreshments and Lunch is included in the price.
The Entrance Fee is NOT included in the price of this event.
Event schedule
10.00am - Meet at the Cafe for briefing over coffee
10.30am - Day's photography with tuition. guidance and 1:1 tuition
Lunch will be when the racing takes a break
Second session
3.45pm - Coffee and Tea
5.00 - 6.00pm Close - dependant on race finish times
What you should bring:
DSLR or SLR.
Zoom lens of around 200mm or longer if you have one.
A short zoom lens (kit lens will be sufficient) for the paddock.
Fully charged batteries and spares if you have them.
Lots of memory cards and film with loads of spare as you can easily fill a couple of cards at the circuit.
A monopod if you have one.
