Event description
Mark Specialises in Black and White Photography and loves nothing more than to capture the life and surroundings of his environment. Mark will talk you through, by showing you his emotive images, how you can capture YOUR life and the surroundings around YOU. He will give you hints and tips on how to get those images that are not seen to be captured, how to get the "Real" person and not a staged image, thus capturing the real spirit and nature of your subject.
Mark will give a two-part talk on Documentary Photography and Street Photography. He will talk through ways to get started in both disciplines and some of the challenges you will face.
All these will be illustrated with photographs as examples and he will also talk through the techniques that you can employ to help you achieve the results you desire.
The aim of this talk is to get you fired up about capturing the world around you and telling a story with your photography...
Mark is also the master of "Projects" and he will light the flame within you to start a project, large or small, of your own.
Although this is a lecture based module Mark will be encouraging audience participation.
You will also see how the resulting photographs went on to be pubslished in a book.
This evening includes a light buffet supper.
