Splish, Splosh and Splash... Tonight it is all about using your camera to capture "WATER" to make some great photographs. From water drops to spraying and pouring water, to oil on water and a technique using old CD's.... It is all about fun with your Camera AND Water tonight.
Tonight you will learn a variety of techniques in and out of your camera from slow shutter speeds to slow the water down to fast shutter speeds to capture that perfect "Crown" water drop hitting the water.
Learn how to use coloured backgrounds, old CD's and a watering can to help make images that make BRILLIANT stock images which have the ability to make you some money.
During the evening there will be no less than FOUR different set-ups and modules for you to try, learn a thing or three and have some fun while you are in the process.
Bring your raincoat but this is one time you wont mind getting messy with water :)
Full Buffet supper is included
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE PRACTICAL MODULE THIS EVENING NUMBERS WILL BE RESTRICTED.

Please note: Due to unforeseen circumstances we may need to change the modules (or part of) that have been advertised. We will always provide an alternative that would still benefit you from learning how to get the best from your camera. We will also always endeavour to give andvance warning of any changes.
Event schedule
6.30pm - Register and get yourself a drink from the bar. Mix and Mingle with others.
7.00pm - Demonstration of all the techniques with handouts
7.10pm - Practical Session: Try for yourself all the techniques
8.15pm - Full Buffet Supper
8.45pm - Practical Session: Try for yourself all the techniques
10.00pm - Close
What you should bring:
Camera, Battery and Spare Battery
Memory Cards / Film
Long Macro lens (105mm)
Telephoto Lens (which will reach between 100 - 200mm) We have asked you to bring long lenses so this will avoid water spashes on your camera - so this is your own discretion. If you have protective filters you could bring shorter lenses.
Tripod
An Open Mind, a willingness to try new things, share with others and have fun while you learn.
