Photographing weddings is as much, if not more, about the business of being a wedding photographer as it is about taking pictures.

Yet more people are interested in learning how to take the photographs than how to get the job done right.

On The Business of Weddings Workshop we move beyond the picture taking and consider the following:

*  How to get business in the first place, from Wedding Shows to Advertising
*  Building a portfolio - a body of work to help sell you as a photographer
*  Deciding on your target market
*  Pricing
*  Issues that you need to cover to protect yourself and your clients
*  Agreements and Contracts along with the paperwork and policies you need to have in place
*  What happens if it goes wrong and what to do
*  The critical shots to keep your clients happy.

"Whilst this workshop is about the business of weddings, there are certain images that, if you take them and take them well, will help you sell more to the couple, and will help you to generate more business.  

Zoë will take you through the structure she uses for posing at weddings to maximise the 'money shots' and she will demonstrate with a couple (not models) how the posing works. You may want to bring your camera with you to take photographs during this session of the workshop.

Zoë will provide you with the opportunity to pose the couple on your own, as well as taking reference shots when she is demonstrating her technique."
