Red face First of all a confession

Well the confession is that I meant to do a post on the Welshot for sale/wanted but wasnt paying attention so did it on the Purpleport one instead. I was looking for a Bronica ETRS 625.

In the heading I put wanted "Bronica 645 thats a 120 roll film camera for the youngsters"
I got one reply that said so the Bronica is a 120 roll film camera the words eggs, Grandmother and suck come to mind.

Don't think that would happen on here, which is why we all love Welshot!

My reply was, there is a rule on the site If you have nothing good to say, say nothing and that just because he was lucky enough to know what a 645 was he shouldn't assume that everybody else did.

However it did strike me that I was probably wrong saying for the youngsters as I think most College courses still cover film first.
Just out of interest who would have had a clue what a 645 was without any further explanation or am I really just a patronising pillock?

Bye the way got lots of replies and am in the process of negotiations for an ETRS with 3, mags a plain prism, speed grip and 100mm macro lens all for 250

Next time you see me I will be the one with one shoulder lower than the other!

Well I'd have known but I'm a geek. Can't beat a bit of 120 and sounds like you've got a good deal there. Thre's definitely a keen interest in film kit still, very much like the resurgence of vinyl a bit of analogue imperfection can often enhance the experience.

Sounds like you've got a great deal there Ted.
Do you have a meter as the Plain prism doesn't have one (I know as I have one),OR, you could use the Nikon to meter for you.

Thanks Eifion Yes I still have my trusty old Weston master 5 (complete with invercone) so will have to refresh how to use that again.

To be honest I prefer the plain prism I was never that enthusiastic about the one with the meter built in,

I notice nobody has commented on am I a patronising pillock!
