Default help to back up from elements needed

i have backed up my pictures on to an external hard drive from elements (because i was prompted to everytime i opened elements). now, as elements is only an interface for my pictures, should i also back up my pictures from my laptop? will elements be searching for them? many thanks.

Hey Carol. I will ask Paul to have a look at this for you and get back to you asap. John Arnold is away at the moment and he is someplace with not great internet connection (that will be killing him)

He is running a workshop on Elements in the near future

Are you coming on Wednesday, it will be fun to see you again.

    Hi Carol,

I don't use elements but I think if you've done a full backup as described in the video below then it will already have backed up your images along with the catalogue. I'm sure there'll be someone out there with elements who can confirm.
