Thanks to the team for this opportunity to say hello to everyone at Welshot

Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember and it's an interest I believe I inherited from my late father who was an accomplished photographer and the winner of many prizes. Unfortunately my arrival signalled the end of his hobby.

I started out wanting to be a doctor and that's where my education took me but many years down the road I moved into the IT field and then about 14 years ago, took the quite frightening step into full time professional photography.

My photographic interest are varied. I suppose my prime photographic interest on a personal level will always be the natural world in all of it's forms however professionally, I shoot everything from packaging through politicians and conferences to weddings.

If I'm not out and about with my camera I'm usually to be found editing photos or enjoying something cold and white in a glass (Pinot Grigio being my current favourite). I do find the latter helps ease the pain of former :D

I am always ready and willing to impart such pearls of wisdom that I possess to anyone who wants to hear it so if you feel I can help you and your photography in any way, please do not hesitate to get in touch
