John Burton will be visiting from the South of England to show you some fantastic images of Nepal. John will also be discussing various photographic topics that will make you think and help you with YOUR own Photography. Second Module will be a Studio and Lights with Models session.

First Module: A real treat tonight as you can spend an Evening with John Burton http://www.welshotimaging.co.uk/gall...hotographer=22 who will be visiting us from the South of England.
Mainly to show you his spectacular images from Nepal (and beyond) John will also be bringing other elements into the lecture that will get you thinking.
John Burton is the Lead Workshop Host for our Planned Nepal trip in February 2011 and he will be able to answer any questions you may have relating to that.
Second Module: We will be once again setting up a Studio and Lighting arrangement. We will have a variety of models and plan to do something a little different but have yet to have it confirmed at the time of this going to press.... We will update as soon as we know.
THIS EVENING WILL BE RESTRICTED IN NUMBERS AND WILL BE CLOSED OFF ON 24TH SEPTEMBER WITH NO EXCEPTIONS MADE.

Tonight is our very first Scrap Metal Challenge This is where you have to capture a creative image using a variety of Photographic techniques lighting product tables and lightboxes.... All will be revealed on the evening... Just make sure you bring an OPEN mind : A chance to win a prize too

This is a full Evening's module in which you will be shown the techniques needed to take photographs of various bits and pieces of "Scrap Metal" from old kitchen utensils to.... Well, you will just have to wait and see because if we give too much away it wouldn't really be a challenge now would it!!!
You will be using a variety of lighting and equipment which will include lighting, light tents and of course, your camera.
You'll be taught how to:

• Use light tents, lightboxes and other product photography equipment.
• Position your lights to avoid shadows and reflections.
• Capture images of "Stuff" in a creative way to get a creative image to win a prize.
• Use the correct settings on your camera.

Supper is included and will be served between 8.00pm – 8.15pm.
