We all now use Memory cards of one type or another in our Cameras to store our images, but , there are lots of different speeds of card that we can now buy.
Why so many and what type do i really need.

The standard speed card, ( the cheaper one ) will still store your image and hold as many images as a faster card, what it will do is that it will take longer to load the imageonto the card in camera, and, longer to download from the card onto your computer, especially if you shoot in RAW.

So if you are not bothered about download time , then you could be paying extra money for something that you dont really need.:camera:

Great tip :)

I alsow found out some of the older camers can't use the 4GB,8GB...etc HCSD cards, so your limited to 2GB SD cards.

but most D-SLR cameras use FLASHCARDS and other use SD and HCSD cards.
