A new Nikon Camera has just been announced the NIKON D4.

It has 16.2 mega pixels, full frame
11 frames per second

Replaces the Nikon D3s and the D3x, so this now becomes the top of the range.
The date for launch is around mid February 2012.

Recomended retail price will be £4799.99

Apparently sold out on Amazon US already. Interesting that it will be our before the 1Dx in time for the Olympics, Canon have messed up there.

New memory card type as well XQD, looking at the specs this could be the long term successor to CF cards as it reads and writes much quicker than them and has support of all the major players.
