About the actual camera?

How to get the sensor clean without giving Cambrian £35 every couple of months. I've tried blowers, swabs and E2 fluid, prayers, voodoo and none of it's really worked. Always comes back spotless from them though. I know the arctic thingys are meant to be very good but I refuse to pay £80 for a spinning paintbrush on principle.The buttons and dials I worked out over time, the cleaning not so much.
