Academy Evening: Chester.
Location: Chester Town Centre meeting underneath the Clock.
Evening Leaders: Steward Ellett and Eifion Williams
Date & Time: Thursday 17th June 2010. 6.30pm – 10.00pm
Price: Academy Member £15.00
Non Academy Member £20.00
Tonight we will be meeting in the outside venue of Chester Town Centre to do “Freestyle Photography”
Walking around various locations of Chester we will be showing you how to think a little bit differently through your camera lens.
This will be done in a creative way with a set mini project that will make learning fun and friendly. This will lead on to a more formal project that we will be talking part in over the coming months.
We will be walking along the river, around the walls and within the city centre itself.
You'll be taught how to:
How to photograph large structures such as the Cathedral.
Capture images that could be marketed and promoted for sale.
How to work with evening light.
How to photograph in a town environment unobtrusively.
Natural habitants of a Town environment.
How to “See” creatively
Low light and Night Photography once the sun has gone.
Please bring your flash gun and tripod if you have one and a variety of lenses should you have them.
Supper will be included. Venue to be confirmed.
