Academy Evening: Llandudno.
Location: The Royal Hotel, Church Walks Llandudno LL30 2HW

Date & Time: Thursday 10th June 2010. 6.30pm – 10.00pm with supper at 8.15pm
Price: Academy Member £15.00
Non Academy Member £20.00
This will be the first official Llandudno Academy Evening and this is where we will get to know YOU and YOUR camera so we can plan for further events around YOUR needs.
Working in small groups with a mixture of levels and cameras you will be taken step by step through a series of modules so that you can learn how to use your camera and all its functions.
This will be done in a creative way with set mini projects that will make learning fun and friendly.
You'll be taught how to:
Work with your shutter control
Work with your aperture control
How to use the macro function on your camera with the mini studio set-ups.
Test your depth of field
How to “See” creatively
How to work with available light
We will start in the private function room in at the hotel talking through the techniques needed to work your way through the mini modules and projects.
Please bring your manuals and flash gun and tripod if you have one.
For those of you who need or want a challenge there will be a set project designed especially for you.
Supper is included and will be served between 8.00pm – 8.15pm..
