There will be no Anglesey Academy evening in Menai Bridge on Wednesday 26th May, instead Welshot Imaging will be launching the IT Training Suite at Cambrian Photography in Colwyn Bay at their Open Show Day.
10.00am – 7.00pm
Along with all the events that Cambrian Photography themselves will be holding Welshot Imaging will be having mini modules running throughout the day in the training suite.
We will be covering a multitude on modules on everything you as a photographer would expect to see.
We will have models for some off camera flash work, learn how to facebook and twitter to promote your business, a run-down of the new features of Adobe photoshop CS5, Insurance guidance on why you should insure your equipment separately from house insurance, and learn how to photograph smoke trails and water droplets.
A full and detailed schedule will be sent to you as soon as it is finalised.
Also launching on the 26th May is our Academy Evening at the Royal Hotel in Llandundo.
6.30pm – 10.30pm
We intend to have a “Spring has Sprung” BBQ in the Garden Function Room as well as the garden and carry on with the mini modules from during the days events, plus add some more to the mix.
This evening will be designed for all the family to come and have some summer fun and enjoy a great BBQ and for new people to the Academy to come and meet us, see what we do, learn a few things and talk to other like minded photographers. Again, events are still being finalised but will be emailed to you when complete.
The cost will be £15.00 per person for the BBQ and is payable direct to The Royal Hotel on the door. This Academy Evening and all the events that we will be putting on will be free of charge.
We will, however, need to know numbers so registration to lee@welshotimaging.co.uk (lee@welshotimaging.co.uk) is essential.
For those of you who are unable to make this event in Llandudno we would like to offer you a mini workshop on Friday 28th May 2010. We intend to meet at 6.30 at the Anglesey Arms Hotel in Menai Bridge and head down to Church Island and have a session on off camera flash. We will have a couple of models lined up for you in a variety of clothing.
We will then head back to the Anglesey Arms Hotel for sandwiches and chips and review any images or go over any questions you may have.
The cost for this evening will be £15.00.
