I know this is an old request but I thought I'd mention this just to make sure nobody gets into any bother.

Bodnant gardens is a national trust property and therefore, I am afraid it is not permissible to sell images taken there.

There is a lot of debate about this in the 'profession' but as things stand, the NT terms and conditions you 'accept' when you buy a ticket, precludes the taking of photographs for commercial purposes :)

Hey Barrie, YES you are right about this, completely "Spot On" in fact however, the card comany had a specific request (from Bodnant themselves I believe) and they then came to us.

This didnt actually go ahead (there was also the question that there was NO payment involved for the photographer) and I just let it die a slow death because all the T's and C's took just about everything away from the author :( :(

This could be a great discussion for our "Discuss and Learn" sessions that we are looking to set up...

Thanks Lee. I had assumed this was something you knew about as you are so thorough but thought I'd better check.

It would make an interesting subject for a short talk as a lot of people get confused about copyright and their rights to sell their work
