This month Welshot Imaging has Mark Scholey http://www.markscholey.co.uk (http://www.markscholey.co.uk/) and http://www.welshotimaging.co.uk/gallery/index.php?photographer=23 (http://www.welshotimaging.co.uk/forum/../gallery/index.php?photographer=23) a documentary and reportage photographer from Manchester will be joining us to show us some of his powerful and thought evoking images.
Mark specialises in Black and White Photography and loves nothing more than to capture the life and surroundings of his environment. Mark will talk you through, by showing you his emotive images, how you can capture YOUR life and the surroundings around YOU. He will give you hints and tips on how to get those images that are not seen to be captured, how to get the "real" person and not a staged image, thus capturing the real spirit and nature of your subject. Mark is also the master of "Projects" and he will light the flame within you to start a project, large or small, of your own. Although this is a lecture based module Mark will be encouraging audience participation.
As asked for by members that we provide you with different views and ways of processing images in compute Paul Davies of Cambrian Photography will be showing you how he works through RAW processing process. Be sure to bring your pen and notebook and as normal, lots of questions and problems you would like solving and Paul will help you become more at ease with your RAW workflow.
