Members are being asked to submit images for an exhibition that is to be held exclusively to Academy Members only at the Oriel Glynllifon Gallery near Caernarfon.
The exhibition will run from 10<sup>th</sup> July through to 8<sup>th</sup> September 2010 and images will be on display and for sale.
Images for exhibition should be of a local nature covering local views of the Lleyn Peninsula, Nantlle Valley, Anglesey and Snowdonia. Images should portray the local culture and the diversity of the beautiful North to Mid Wales landscape.
We can advise you if you need any help on this.
All images for selection must be submitted by 31<sup>st</sup> May 2010 and if selected you will need to mount and frame the images in a neutral frame and have mirror plates.
Welshot Imaging will hang the images at the Gallery on the dates of 5<sup>th</sup> and 6<sup>th</sup> July. We will also help with pricing your images and fully market and promote the event as well as your images.
There is also the opportunity of selling your work as mounted prints only. These will not be hung on the walls but they will be in browsers. We have plenty of cellophane supplies to wrap them in. These images are not subject to selection.
Glynllifon Parc will take 30% commission plus vat on the commission only.
Welshot will take 10% commission only.
Welshot will be having a wine and cheese opening ceremony and this will take place on Sunday 11<sup>th</sup> July at 2.00pm and we plan to ask a wide range of guests.
We are also looking for a name of the Exhibition and we will be running a competition to get the best name. You will win ½ day workshop if the name of the exhibition is chosen by you.
