Join us at the Anglesey Arms, Menai Bridge on the 27th of January at 6.30pm for an evening of night photography and HDR imaging.
Simon Plant from www.prophotoinsights.net will be leading a practical module on night time photography including light painting and starlight imaging.
Adrian Wilson will be leading you through HDR photography. Starting with how to setup your camera and the best settings for taking the images through to developing the files in photoshop and looking at alternative programmes such as photomatix.
There will as always be a full buffet supper between modules and the opportunity to share your ideas and experiences with fellow photogrpahers.
The cost of the evening is £10 for academy members and £20 for non academy menbers. Please use the following link to book your place.

It will speed things up on the night as it is going to be a very busy one. Plus you will make it onto the attendance list, I might miss it here otherwise.
Looking forward to seeing you.

Hiya Everyone.
Can I please just remind everyone that I will need confirmation of your attendance on Wednesday night, please use the following link to register http://www.welshotimaging.co.uk/academy/wednesday/ This is not just for catering purposes but I NEED to organise the groups BEFORE Wednesday. Thank You.
Can you please, on Wednesday wear suitable warm clothing as you will be going outdoors. You will also need study walking shoes, a tripod and a cable release if you have one.
Please also bring a torch with you so that you can see your way down the path to Church Island.
This will be a very busy evening and you will need to make your way in your groups as quickly as possible so we would be grateful for your cooperation.
The format for the evening is that Simon Plant will give a simple / short introduction to the group as a whole, after the Welshot Hello's and announcements, then you will be split into two groups as per usual.
We hope to start at 6.45 sharp, so if you could please be seated in the main lecture area this would help, we intend on Wednesday to have the buffet supper at 8.30.
Please email me if you have any problems with registration or any other questions, unless I recieve an email, phone call, or registration through the link you will not be recorded as attending.
Thank you.
Lee :)

Great Night last night Everyone :)
Thanks to Ade and Simon :) Thanks to all who took part and we at Welshot were very grateful for the enthusiasim you all displayed and your cooperation in moving around the evening quickly. It made the evening run smoothly.
They were both very much "Taster" sessions to show you what you could acheive from a workshop. Simons workshop would obviously give you more practical time and Ade's session would delve into the programme Photomatix.
Last night the HDR session was just to show you the effects of working in HDR.
Hope you all enjoyed yourself.
Great to have you all there and we have great modules for next month as well. Numbers may well need to be restricted and on a first come first served basis......
Lee :)

Really enjoyed Wednesday nights meeting especially the HDR talk. Have done a bit with Photomatix pro so it's inspired me to have another go. Does anyone know where I can get the other program he mentioned 'PT Gooey'? I'm not even sure I've got the name right.

Thanks very much. I've searched and searched but as I had the spelling wrong it's not suprising that I didn't find it! Sorry I didn't get a chance to speak to you. Perhaps next time!
