Calibration Device

Anyone know anything about or have used colour calibration device for computer monitors/printers, I have looked into them before but never really got the full details, How good are they?

Hello John,

I use a Spider 3 to calibrate my screen, then when we want photographs printed send them to Photo Imaging who have no problem with the colours , they come back as they were on my screen. We dont do our own printing so cant comment on calibrating printers, but im sure that either Photo Imaging or our members could help there.

I know a few people who use this device and find it easy to use and are happy with the results.
There are many other devices available, but this is the one which was recommended to us, i think it now retails for around £130 ish.

We have calibration prints for our Fuji Frontier lab if anyone is interested, call in and collect if you are in our area or email us for a print.
