This will be of interest to all Sony Camera owners .
When you need to use the camera in say a studio situation, we normally fire the light's with a remote trigger from the camera's hotshoe, Sony don't use the standard hotshoe fitting, causing a big problem ie. you can't fire the light's.
However Sony do sell a converter to fit into the shoe at £ 99.99 ( phew ! ), I have been looking for an alternative and have found one from Interfit , priced at wait for it £12.99 product code PBC 5854.
No excuses now for playing around with flash.
