For anyone using lightroom (1 or 2) there are plugins available export images directly to flickr.
The plugin can be downloaded from here (http://regex.info/blog/lightroom-goodies/flickr)
To use the plugin download it to your computer and unzip the folder. It can be stored anywhere on your machine.
Next open lightroom and click on file and then plugin manager.
This will open the plugin page and list any plugins you already have. Click the add button at the bottom left of this page and select the folder you unzipped in step 1.
You should now be able to right click on any image and select export, then select export to flick and set any options you want on form. You can resize, add images to sets and groups or create new ones. You can also have lightroom export the image title and any keywords. It's quite a powerful tool with a lot of options but it is quite straightforward once you get the hang of it and saves a lot of time having to do the same jobs twice.
