I am passionate about documenting life be it life on the street the way in which we work or the landscape we live and relax in. I feel that we should take the time to really look and see what is around us and record this in all its flaws and reality.

My name is Mark Scholey and I am  passionate about documenting life, be it life on the street, the way in which we work, or the landscape we live and relax in.

I feels that we should take the time to really look and see what is around us and record this in all its flaws and reality.

My approach is to photograph all subjects in this way, trying to bring the best out of a situation, while showing it for what it is.

Being true to the subject and a strong sense of ethics are at the core of my photographic beliefs and something that I hopes to impart to those that I have  contact with.

A lot of the Photography I do is on film Bronica Medium Format Camera - especially for my documentary projects such as Going, Going, Gone.  A project covering The Foot and Mouth epidemics in the UK.
