I love to teach help and inspire those with a passion for Photography to learn by Doing. I read Camera Manuals and Camera Reviews just for fun. Why let that go to waste when I can pass it on to those who would rather learn by practising. It is great to see the Oh thats what that means moment !!

My Name is Eifion Williams and I am a Professional Photographer specialising in Commercial, Product, PR and Property Photography.  I  teach 1:1 to those wanting to get the best from their Camera as well as at our Welshot events.  I am the Managing Director for Welshot Imaging Ltd.

My choice of genre in Photography when I'm not working is any thing Action..... Superbikes, Motorbikes, Cars, really just anything that goes fast around a track.  I started my Photographic jouney many years ago, I am 53 and I have been taking pictures since my early teens, so, a really long time - black and white & film in those days ;)

I currently use Nikon D700 along with two back up Nikon D300's. and have over the years amassed a large amount of gear ranging from Fuji Bridge Cameras to Medium Format Bronicas.  I have lenses ranging from 10mm to 300mm, Nikon, Sigma and Tamron. 

If I could photograph ONE person it would be Valentino Rossi.  However, it was My Father who inspired me, it is his fault I have spent and continue to spend all my money on Camera kit.   He also encouraged my love of B&W and darkroom processing.  Secondly it would be Mark Duncalf of Cambrian Photography for believing in me as a Photographer and giving me the chance to work and learn alongside him for many years.

It is our Academy Members that inspire me now. Their passion and thirst for learning is amazing and keeps me going.  Every Academy Evening gives me a buzz.  I am also a prolific reader of Photographic Magazines (as well as Camera Manuals and Photographic books) and use these to keep up to date to help our members.  At the moment I find  Advancedced Photographer and Photo Professional are Superb reference tools.

My last “Click” would be of Valentino Rossi winning his next world championship as he came over the finishing line.
