I love to teach and help inspire those with a passion for Photography to learn because I get so much out of photography. I want to share what I’ve learned so they can enjoy it too. My techniques are not out of any textbooks so I hope the slightly different approach will help inspire people to do new things.

My name is Adrian Wilson (most people call me Ade) and I am a Professional Photographer for McFade Photography.

I have been taking pictrues for 10 years now and I love to photograph People, Cars, Landscapes and Architecture.  At the moment I use a Canon 5D and along with my camrea you would find in my kit bag lensbabies, radio triggers, flashes and gels and a can of Pepsi Max or 3.

I couldn't do without my Angle finder – most of my architecture work is taken from low angles, so the angle finder saves me putting my back out.  Also handy for landscapes too.  What I would like in my kit bag is a lots of fast Canon “L” prime lenses and the 17mm TS-E F4 L lens.

If I could photograph ONE person it would be  Billy Joel – I’ve been playing his songs on piano since I was about 14, so would have so much to talk to him about – it’s meeting your idol territory really.  Most of the art of portrait it building a rapport with your sitter, so I’d love to spend an hour chatting with him about the songs and his life.  Photographically… well he’s not had surgery, so it’s a real face, which is unusual with the super rich in America, and he’s very animated.

I was inspired to pick up a camera by my curiosity. I like art, but never had the patience to create my own paintings or drawings. I wondered whether I could make art with a camera, so gave it a go.  My inspiration / passion at the moment is using flash and natural light in an outside environment.  I love it.  It could be a beautiful model on a professional shoot, a bride or even a friend I’m trying new stuff on, it’s the challenge of getting the scene looking right that I thrive on.

I don’t really do magazines much, but am impressed with Advanced Photographer.

My last “Click” would be of a stunning model in Yosemite Valley and lots of strobes in perfect lighting conditions.
